JENCASH |
|
JENCASH is cashew base resinous acid proofing cement. It
is hardened by chemical reaction. It is thermosetting resinous cement.
It resists acids, acidic salts, alcohols, grease, fats, mineral oils
& alkalies. JENCASH will resist a temperature up to 350ºF. It is
used as bonding and jointing cement for stone, tile & brick. It has
very good insulation property.
|
|

|
Use |
|
Brick / tile lining based on JENCASH is recommended for severe corrosive
conditions as in reaction vessels, storage tanks, neutralization pits,
drains, floors and other areas.
JENCASH is used in different industries like Steel, Dyestuff, Metal
Finishing, Thermal Power Plants, Fertilizers, Petrochemicals, Food
processing, Beverages, Breweries, Dairies etc.
For severe corrosive conditions JENCASH is used for bedding and jointing
of tile / bricks and for less severe conditions, it is used as a
pointing material along with silicate cement as the bedding material.

Directions
for Use |
|
This is an acid resistant synthetic cement mortar based on Cashew
Nutshell Liquid (C.N.S.L.) There is extra-ordinary resistance to
alkalies along with good acid resistance. It has also good resistance to
temperature up to 175 ºC.
The material is supplied two parts, CNSL resin Syrup and a power filler.
Generally mixing at site in small usable lots in recommended. The resin
is first taken in weighed quantity and the power filler is slowly mixed
in it while stirring with trovel till a working consistency is obtained.
This is approximately one part Liquid Solution is 2.5 to 3 parts power.
Since the applicability for joints and bedding varies, the vertical
joints may need more and workable mortar.
For conditions involving Oxidizing acids or glass itching acids we would
be able to supply special carbon filled JENCASH.

Handling
Precautions |
|
Since the odour emanating
from the solution and from prepared mortar is irritating, it is
important that the workplace be provided with adequate ventilation.
Contact with skin should be avoided, since it causes irritation/itching.
It is recommended that barrier cream be applied before handling JENCASH
mortar. In case of contact with skin it is washed with soap and plenty
of water. If JENCASH solution splashes in to the eye, eye is washed with
plenty of water and medical advices is sought.
